What is going on? What are the new changes? Sounds like the new "king" forgot his cloths

It Sounds to me like they are making good on their statments " We will do what we want and trucks sure ain't going to be in them "
The New Kings, will: tell you what color to paint your home.
The New Kings Will: tell you that you can not have a container for your house hold goods.
The New Kings will: Tell you that you can not park your motor home on your property.
The New Kings will: tell you that you can not restore a classic car or truck.
The New Kings will: enterfear with almost every thing you do as a property OWNER.

What are you talking about "AMY" the new regime is to lazy to post their agenda, and there is no representation at any of the meetings. For a few years the town council was feuding with the community center (who by the way post their functions) and now they are buddy buddy. I missed last months meeting because I assumed there was no meeting when it wasn't posted.

The wanna-be's need to get their act together.

They are posted regularly at the Antelope Acres Community Center and the AA Market and at http://www.antelopeacrescommunity.com . When I can figure out how to post them on this site, I will. Still having trouble, but I'll figure it out.

Actually, this is only the third time I have been to this site and it was to post the agenda. I rarely visit forums - not much time. I'll have to say though that with the lack of respect shown on this website for some Town Council members and the mischaracterizations for such volunteers who work hard to serve the community, I may not bother visiting the site again.

Well then... as far as the Standards go, still waiting to meet with the County after sending them the notes from the Committee's reviews last month. I would be glad to post a pdf of the marked up Draft 3 if someone could send me instructions.

First Of All:

You Must Give RESPECT to Get RESPECT.
Also you must put your personal feelings aside.
you must not place your personal agenda ahead of your community.
You took on the JOB of town Council member to help make your town a better place to live, NOT TO FORCE your will on other citizens.
You as council members were not elected as kings and queens,
YOU WERE ELECTED TO TELL THE COUNTY<<<>>> WHAT THE PEOPLE OF ANTELOPE ACRES WANT<<<<<>>>>> NOT WHAT YOU WANT.
So I Put the Question to you as a Member of The Antelope Acres Town Council, Just what is your Agenda?
If it is to represent the wishes of the citizens of Antelope Acres, THATS GREAT!.
IF you have your own PERSONAL AGENDA and your going to do
" what ever the hell we want " then you JUST DO Not belong on the town Council.

Well Mr. Hawkins I am still waiting for the posting of the agenda.
I am 93 and don't have much more time to wait for you to figure it out!!!!!

Last I knew Vickie Nelson was the president. What happened with that? I also have a feeling my remarks are some that Mr. Hawkins found disparaging. I can assure all that I did not mean to put down people who are dedicating themselves to public service. What I have a problem with is when several people tell me they heard FIRST HAND one particular town council member repeatedly making disparaging remarks about myself and my family. THAT as a member of the community I have a problem with. That is unprofessional and slanderous. Mr. Hawkins, you are not the one of which I speak so maybe you are unaware of the situation. If so, I would urge you to request you fellow community representatives that it is unseemly and unbecoming for a town council member to gossip about community members.
